The Israeli Occupation expressed strong disapproval of the British government's recent decision to suspend 30 out of 250 arms export licenses to the country, Middle East Eye (MEE) reported.

The suspension, announced on Monday, sparked a significant diplomatic rift, with “Israeli” leaders denouncing the move as both "shameful" and harmful to the fight against Hamas in Gaza.

“Israeli” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu did not mince words, labeling the UK's decision as a disgraceful act.

"Israel will win against Hamas with or without British arms," he stated.

Netanyahu's condemnation was echoed by “Israeli” Foreign Minister Israel Katz, who warned that the suspension "sends a very problematic message to Hamas and Iran.”

Another senior government official reportedly called the move "miserable and insensitive."

They argue that the suspension not only strains relations between “Israel” and the UK but also risks undermining security cooperation between the two nations.

This diplomatic clash was further exacerbated by reports that Netanyahu refused to meet with British Foreign Secretary David Lammy during his visit to “Israel” in mid-August.

The snub followed the UK’s decision to drop its objection to the International Criminal Court's (ICC) arrest warrants for “Israeli” leaders.
